PHS was established in 1981 by Ron Newman and is the largest and most respected helicopter training and service company in Australia. It’s identity had grown dated and required a refresh to maintain it’s industry standing.
The helicopter is an agile and exciting machine and our idea was to translate these characteristics into the new PHS identity. The mark is an interpretation of the main disc of a helicopter which has been stylised into a supersonic spinning shape and the blue and yellow colour scheme was retained due to it’s brand recognition. Because the helicopter livery would be viewed from great distances the identity needed to be bold and recognisable.
